The best DSLR cameras is the kind of subject that naturally leads to discussion, arguments, and a lot of subjective personal taste, so let me pre-empt the flames by saying this is my list of the best DSLRs. So my point if I have one is that you have to work your own criteria. Maybe money is no object? Maybe cost consciousness is the priority? Perhaps you already have a collection of Nikon lenses? 10. Conon EOS 1000D

This DSLR camera was launched in 2008 and is aimed squarely at the entry-level market but despite that positioning and age, still packs in some serious features. While prices vary wildly, you can pick it up for low prices, making it the real bargain. If price is your main factor then it is well worth looking at, as this is one of the best and affordable DSLR cameras on the market.

Facebook Timeline Support for iPad Rumoured for January Launch

Facebook released Timeline to all desktop users in the middle of December. A few days later the universal iPhone/iPad app for Facebook was updated although Timeline was only given to iPhone users on this app update.

We now hear that by the end of January another update will happen which will allow iPad users to be able to use Timeline via the Facebook app.

Regarding the Facebook app update expected next month, we've heard from 9to5Mac that the iPad version of Timeline is optimised for the large mobile screen and works very well with the touch interface.

Although we have heard mid to late January for the launch, we've also heard that Facebook has stumbled across a number of bugs with Timeline which is slowing it down on the iPad. Expect January but this could fall in to February depending on how quick Apple can review the app when completed.
